DIVINE DOMAIN
ILLUSTRATION | DESIGN
The Divine Domain was a piece where I illustrated and laid out a sheet for a Dungeons and Dragons player hand guide with information on a homebrew subclass. Laid out in InDesign, the design of the page was informed by the standard layout that is seen in official DND hand guides. Beginning with the history of the subclass then onto spells and levels. When sketching the thumbnails I experimented with various poses but decided on a symmetrical front-facing pose to symbolize that the character we are viewing is that of the divine, a fictional religion within the text. Each illustration was painted in greyscale and then colorized using adjustment layers in Photoshop.
