Opposites Attract: Spicy & Icy Advertising Campaign was a collaborative project with four other artists. Tasked with creating a multi-piece mock ad campaign for a new food product, we chose to create a new popcorn flavor for Garrett’s Popcorn. As the illustrator, I was responsible for designing the mascots of the campaign and creating a series of illustrations for packaging and advertising. Working with my teammates I designed multiple iterations of these characters, taking feedback from our art director and adapting the drawings to their final iterations. For the project, I opted to work in a fun and graphic art style that paired well with the typographic elements. This project showed me the importance of open dialogue, constructive feedback, and working with others to achieve the best project outcomes. Read more here!
